TWEKO AS Hydro series water-curtain extraction cabinets are professional systems for local extraction and filtration of contaminated air during coating operations. The series is designed for products made of wood, metal, plastic, composites and other materials and helps efficiently remove paint overspray, dust and contaminants directly from the working area.

The main feature of the AS Hydro series is its water curtain with a recirculating water system. Wet filtration provides high holding capacity and captures a significant proportion of pigments, suspended particles and paint aerosols before the air reaches the final dry-filter stage.

Three-Stage Filtration System

Exhaust-air cleaning is performed by a combined system that uses both wet and dry filtration.

• First stage: primary capture of paint overspray by the water curtain
• Second stage: additional wet cleaning through a water-spray system
• Third stage: fiberglass EU4 Paint Stop filter
• The wet-filtration stages capture up to 90% of solid paint particles, suspended matter and aerosols
• The final Paint Stop filter provides filtration efficiency of at least 95%

When required, the system can be equipped with additional air-cleaning stages, including activated-carbon filters. In extended configurations, overall filtration efficiency can reach up to 99%, depending on the contaminants and selected equipment configuration.

Water Curtain and Recirculation

Water circulates in a closed loop and is repeatedly reused during the filtration process. This reduces water consumption and allows the system to operate for longer periods without frequent replacement of dry filter media.
