The TWEKO AKFS Electro paint-and-dry booth is a professional solution for automotive service centres and body shops, designed for applying and drying coatings on passenger cars, vans, light commercial vehicles and individual body components.
The main feature of the series is its electric air-heating system. The electric heat exchanger provides high conversion efficiency, precise temperature control and produces no combustion gases. The booth provides a complete painting, purging, drying and cooling cycle with automatic control of temperature and process time.
Applications
- Automotive service centres and body shops
- Passenger cars
- Vans
- Light commercial vehicles
- Vehicle body panels and components
- Application of primers, paints, enamels and lacquers
Electric Heating System
- Supply-air heating by an electric heat exchanger
- High efficiency of electrical energy conversion into heat
- Precise automatic maintenance of the preset temperature
- No combustion gases generated by the heating system
- No gas or diesel fuel system required
Ventilation and Working Environment
The supply ventilation system provides a continuous and uniform flow of filtered air heated to the preset temperature. Multi-stage EU5 filtration effectively captures dust and other contaminants before the air enters the working area.
The balanced supply and exhaust ventilation system creates positive pressure inside the booth, reducing the ingress of dust from the surrounding workshop and helping maintain a clean environment during coating application.
Temperature Ranges
- Painting temperature: 16–24 °C
- Drying temperature: 20–80 °C
The required temperature is set by the operator from the control panel and automatically maintained according to the selected operating mode.
Operating Modes
- Painting: continuous supply of filtered and heated air with removal of paint overspray
- Purge: ventilation of the working area after coating application to remove residual vapours and overspray
- Drying: maintenance of the preset temperature and process time for effective coating drying
- Cooling: reduction of vehicle and booth temperature after the drying cycle
Coating Materials
The booth can be used with a wide range of coating materials, including primers, paints, water-based coatings, enamels and lacquers. Filtered air and stable temperature conditions help achieve an even finish and reduce the risk of surface defects.
Installation Options
- Installation on a specially prepared foundation
