TWEKO ASS-Cabin series dry-filtration extraction cabinets are professional systems for creating localised coating areas for products made of wood, metal, plastic and other materials. The cabinets actively remove paint overspray from the working area and clean exhaust air through a two-stage dry filtration system.
The key feature of the ASS-Cabin series is its protective mini-cabin with side panels, which limits the lateral spread of paint overspray. Depending on the model, the working-area width can range from 1 to 6 m, while the protective side panels can extend from 600 to 2600 mm, allowing the system to be adapted to different product sizes and paint-shop layouts.
Applications
- Furniture manufacturing and workshops
- Picture-frame and moulding workshops
- Light-industry facilities
- Metalworking and manufacturing areas
- Coating of products made of wood, metal and plastic
- Creation of localised coating areas inside production facilities
Protective Mini-Cabin
The protective side panels form a defined working area in front of the extraction section and limit the lateral spread of paint overspray. This configuration allows the ASS-Cabin to operate as a compact coating area without requiring the floor space of a full-size enclosed spray booth.
- Working-area width depending on model: 1–6 m
- Protective side-panel length: 600–2600 mm
- Containment of paint overspray within the working area
- Reduced contamination of adjacent production areas
Dry Filtration System
Contaminated air containing paint overspray is actively drawn into the extraction system and passes through two dry-filtration stages. Overall filtration efficiency is at least 95%, corresponding to EU4 filtration class.
- First stage: cardboard labyrinth filter for capturing the majority of paint overspray
- Second stage: fiberglass Paint Stop filter for additional exhaust-air cleaning
Active Exhaust Ventilation
The exhaust system creates a continuous directional airflow from the working area toward the filtration section. This helps remove paint overspray directly during coating application and reduces its concentration around the operator.
Construction and Installation
- Modular construction for different product sizes
- No dedicated foundation required
- No extensive construction work required
- Installation requires connection to exhaust-air ducts
- Suitable for integration into an existing paint shop
- Multiple cabinets can be installed according to the production workflow
Working-Area Lighting
- Sealed LED light fixtures
- Uniform illumination of the coating area
- Improved visual control of coating quality
- Energy-efficient design
Main Benefits
- Effective containment: the protective mini-cabin limits the spread of paint overspray
- Dry filtration: two-stage system combining a labyrinth filter and Paint Stop
- Scalable configuration: working-area dimensions can be selected according to product size
- Space efficiency: compact alternative to a full-size enclosed spray booth
- Simple installation: no dedicated foundation or extensive site preparation required
- Flexible integration: one or several cabinets can be incorporated into the paint-shop layout
Safety
- Construction made from non-combustible materials
- Explosion-protected fans and key ventilation components
- Automatic interlock prevents paint or compressed-air supply if ventilation stops
- Automatic fire suppression system
- Sealed working-area lighting
TWEKO ASS-Cabin series extraction cabinets make it possible to create a professional coating area with effective paint-overspray removal without installing a full-size enclosed spray booth. Their modular design and different working-area widths and depths allow the equipment to be adapted both to small workshops and industrial paint shops.
