The TWEKO KFC series container spray booth is a ready-to-use industrial solution for applying paint and coating materials without the need to construct a dedicated paint shop. The complete system is installed inside a 40-foot container and is supplied with integrated ventilation, heating, filtration, lighting and automatic control systems.
No dedicated foundation, separate ventilation room or extensive ductwork is required. The container is installed on a level prepared surface and connected to the electrical supply and fuel line. This configuration is particularly suitable for facilities with limited production space, temporary sites or applications where the equipment may need to be relocated.
Applications
- Steel structures, beams and trusses
- Pipes and long metal products
- Trailer frames and platforms
- Special-purpose vehicle bodies and superstructures
- Agricultural machinery
- Industrial, temporary and mobile production sites
Booth Design
- Housing based on a 40-foot shipping container
- Working area: 10,000 × 1,800 × 2,200 mm
- End loading through the original container doors
- Working area insulated with non-combustible mineral wool
- Separate technical compartment for ventilation, heating and control equipment
- External exhaust fan units mounted on the side wall of the container
Ventilation, Heating and Filtration
Fresh outside air passes through a pre-filter and is heated by an indirect heat exchanger before entering the working area through a ceiling supply system equipped with EU5 fine filters.
The airflow passes through the painting area, captures paint overspray and is discharged through a side filtration wall with EU3 two-stage dry filtration. The balance between supply and exhaust airflow creates positive pressure inside the booth, helping prevent outside dust from reaching freshly painted surfaces.
Standard Equipment
- 7.5 kW supply fan
- Heat exchanger with diesel burner and separate combustion-gas exhaust
- Four exhaust fan units with a total power of 8.8 kW
- Pre-filtration, ceiling filtration and exhaust filtration systems
- Industrial sealed IP65 LED lighting
- Automatic control system based on a programmable logic controller
- Temperature, pressure and filter-condition monitoring
Operating Modes
- Painting: continuous supply of filtered and heated air with removal of paint overspray
- Purge: ventilation of the working area after painting to remove solvent vapours
- Temperature control: automatic maintenance of the preset supply-air temperature
- Cooling: ventilation without heating to cool the product and working area
The booth is designed for paint application and natural drying under controlled temperature conditions. High-temperature accelerated curing is not included in the standard configuration.
Safety
- Non-combustible thermal insulation in the working area
- Indirect heating prevents combustion products from entering the booth
- Monitoring of ventilation operation, temperature and filter condition
- Continuous air renewal during painting
- Service exits for personnel evacuation
Utility Requirements
- Power supply: 380 V / 50 Hz
- Required electrical power: 18 kW
- Heating system fuel: diesel
- Installation on a level solid surface without a dedicated foundation
Custom Configuration
TWEKO KFC series booths can be manufactured according to individual customer requirements. The working area length, heating system, door arrangement, automation package and safety equipment can be adapted to the specific application. Optional equipment includes a lower explosive limit gas detection system and an automatic fire suppression system.
