The FAHDITALIA ASTRA.60/5R COMPACT automatic edge banding machine with pre-milling unit is designed for applying edge materials made of melamine, PVC, ABS and solid wood to furniture parts. The machine is used in furniture production, woodworking workshops and companies specializing in cabinet furniture, doors and interior elements made of board-based materials.
The ASTRA.60/5R COMPACT model combines automatic panel feeding, pre-milling, glue application, roll edge material cutting, end trimming and finishing trimming of edge overhangs. The machine works with panels from 9 to 45 mm thick, with an optional extension up to 60 mm, roll edge material from 0.4 to 3 mm thick and strip edge material up to 5 mm thick with the optional strip edge processing kit. Thanks to its compact 2950 mm length, pre-milling unit and PLC control via a 7″ touchscreen panel, this model is a practical solution for high-quality automatic edge banding where production space is limited.
