The PTR 1600XLH is a highly efficient hydraulic pressure tester designed for inspecting the integrity of cylinder heads and blocks, allowing the detection of cracks, leaks, and ensuring cooling circuit integrity. The testing process involves sealing all cooling system outlets of the cylinder head with rubber plugs and injecting air under pressure. The head is then submerged in hot water, where air bubbles rise if any cracks are present.

The PTR 1600XLH is equipped with a programmable heater that maintains water temperature between 0 and 90 °C. Hydraulic levers facilitate vertical movement of the cradle, while its 360-degree rotation provides full access to all sides of the cylinder head. The insulated stainless steel tank with a 710-liter capacity minimizes heat loss, significantly reducing operational costs.
