The FAHDITALIA SP 400 KLASS thickness planer is designed for calibrating solid wood workpieces to a specified thickness, leveling the surface and preparing material for further processing. The machine is suitable for small woodworking workshops, private production facilities and daily work with wood where compact size, ease of operation and consistent planing quality are important.
The SP 400 KLASS model is equipped with a 398 × 800 mm worktable, a 100 mm diameter cutterblock with four knives and a feed system with a speed of 6–12 m/min. The machine can process workpieces from 4 to 225 mm in height, ensuring accurate stock removal and uniform surface quality. The 4 HP main motor and 1.1 / 1.5 HP feed motor provide stable operation when machining wood of different densities.
