The TWEKO KNT rotator is an industrial hydraulic device designed for moving, rotating and accurately positioning large workpieces weighing up to 8,000 kg. The equipment is intended for process operations requiring controlled access to different surfaces of a heavy workpiece without repeated repositioning.

The KNT can be used for large and armoured vehicles, including APCs and IFVs, during painting, coating drying, repair, servicing and modernisation. Its hydraulic drive provides smooth cradle movement and allows the mounted workpiece to be rotated through 360°.

Rotation and Positioning

The workpiece is mounted and secured in the rotating cradle. The hydraulic system provides controlled movement and allows the workpiece to be positioned as required for a specific process operation.

Construction

Control System

The rotator is controlled through an electrical cabinet that manages the hydraulic drive and cradle movement. SQ1 and SQ2 limit switches monitor the end positions of the mechanism and prevent movement beyond the defined operating range.

Equipment Movement

The KNT is not self-propelled. Relocation between process areas can be carried out using a traction winch or other suitable auxiliary equipment.

During transportation, the cradle is secured with mechanical stops to prevent uncontrolled movement of rotating components.
