Combined surface and thickness planer FAHDITALIA FS 530/S is designed for professional surface planing of solid wood workpieces and their subsequent calibration to the required thickness. The machine combines surface planing and thickness planing functions in a single unit and is intended for joinery workshops and woodworking facilities requiring a large working width, high productivity, and convenient changeover between machining operations.

The FS 530/S provides a working width of 530 mm and is equipped with a 120 mm diameter cutterblock with four knives operating at 5000 rpm. Maximum depth of cut is 8 mm, while the thicknessing working height ranges from 3 to 250 mm. Four powered feed speeds — 5 / 7 / 9 / 12 m/min — allow the operating mode to be adapted to the material and required productivity. Simultaneous lifting of the surface planer tables with automatic opening and powered lifting of the thicknessing table with electronic indication simplify machine changeover and operator setup.
