Combined surface and thickness planer FAHDITALIA FS 310/E is designed for flattening solid wood workpieces and subsequently calibrating them to the required thickness. The machine combines surface planing and thickness planing functions in one compact unit and is suitable for joinery workshops, small woodworking facilities, and professional woodworking applications.
The FS 310/E provides a working width of 310 mm and uses a common cutterblock for both surface and thickness planing. The cutterblock has a diameter of 80 mm, is equipped with three knives, and operates at 5700 rpm. Maximum depth of cut is 5 mm, while the thicknessing working height ranges from 4 to 230 mm. Powered workpiece feed at 7 m/min ensures stable material movement during thickness planing. If required, the machine can be equipped with a TERSA cutterblock or XYLENT spiral cutterblock, as well as an optional mortising unit.
