Manual torsiometer of the, TR series, Easydur

Right and left torque control tool, especially suitable for spring testing. It is a manually operated device with two detents that can be adjusted for successive tests in an angular position. The design is monolithic with precision guides with ball screw transmission. The tool is equipped with high-resolution electronic load sensors for torque measurement, and a digital encoder with 0.1 degree resolution is provided for angular position control. Automatic compensation of the elasticity of the torsion sensor.

The torsiometer is equipped with adjustable carriages for setting the torsion point. The device works with zero relative to the contact of the spring or with absolute zero.

Principle of action:

The device measures the moment directly and therefore always gives the same measurement, even if the application points are different. Thus, the position of the levers does not require high accuracy.

The digital part with a button panel displays moments and angles on both displays. Translation units are kg mm and N mm, English units can be set on request. The functions of the tool are set from the keyboard and include:

• automatic zero adjustment, the possibility of zeroing at any point of both angle and moment;
• re-calibration, setting the reference moment and the key to save in memory;
• several sensors (option);
• setting tolerances according to 3 values highlighted by light indicators;
• sending data.

The device is equipped with an RS232 output for connecting to a computer.
