The FAHDITALIA CAV 400 chain mortising machine is designed for cutting slots in solid wood workpieces, furniture boards and other wood-based materials. The machine is used in joinery and woodworking production for making mortise joints, tenon sockets, door components, frame structures and other products where accurate and stable mortising is required.
The CAV 400 model is equipped with a working head tiltable by ±45°, a 3 HP chain motor and an automatic lubrication system. The machine provides a maximum slot length of 250 mm, maximum slot depth of 160 mm, working head transverse travel of 100 mm and console vertical travel of 250 mm. The ability to process workpieces up to 1000 mm high makes this model convenient for machining large wooden components.
