SG 1400 is a heavy-duty surface grinding and milling machine designed for resurfacing cylinder heads and engine blocks in high-performance automotive workshops.
Its rigid cast iron construction ensures excellent stability and durability when machining cast iron, aluminium, and diesel heads with steel pre-combustion chambers. The table moves along prismatic guides with continuous lubrication, and the precision ball screw drive ensures smooth operation, even at low feed speeds.
The spindle speed is controlled by a Siemens SINAMICS V20 inverter, offering precise adjustment. The user-friendly swing arm control panel allows for manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic operation, making the machine extremely flexible and efficient.
