HOLEKS TECH — NEW WOODWORKING EQUIPMENT DIVISION
HOLEKS TECH — a new direction: woodworking equipment
HOLEKS TECH is expanding its areas of activity and introducing a new category — woodworking equipment. Our catalog now includes machines for the main stages of mechanical processing of solid wood and panel materials: from cutting and workpiece preparation to spindle moulding, drilling, edge banding, and finishing sanding.
We maintain a comprehensive approach to production equipment: we help select machines according to the material, workpiece dimensions, required operations, and productivity, and we also provide commissioning, technical support, and service maintenance.
Equipment for different stages of woodworking
Woodworking production can include many consecutive operations. Workpieces need to be cut, planed, calibrated to thickness, milled, drilled, edge banded, and sanded.
The new HOLEKS TECH direction includes equipment both for solid wood processing and for machining MDF, chipboard, plywood, furniture panels, and other wood-based materials.
Sliding table saws
Sliding table saws are used for precise rip, cross, and angled cutting of solid wood and panel materials. The sliding carriage ensures stable movement of large workpieces relative to the saw blade and helps achieve repeatable component dimensions.
For laminated panels, the equipment can be fitted with a scoring unit that helps minimize chipping of the decorative surface during cutting.
Wood spindle moulders
Wood spindle moulders are designed for edge profiling, grooving, chamfering, radius machining, and decorative profile production. Depending on the machine design, they can be used both for standard edge processing and for more complex operations with solid wood.
Some configurations are equipped with sliding carriages and additional accessories for tenoning and end machining operations.
Surface planers and thickness planers
Surface planers and thickness planers are used for proper preparation of solid wood.
- Surface planers create a flat reference face and a straight workpiece edge.
- Thickness planers calibrate the component to the required thickness relative to the already prepared surface.
This type of equipment is essential in furniture, door, staircase, glued panel, and other production processes where stable workpiece geometry is important.
Wide belt sanding machines
Wide belt sanding machines are used for calibration, coarse sanding, and finishing of flat workpieces.
They can process solid wood, furniture panels, MDF, chipboard, plywood, and other materials. Depending on configuration, one machine can be equipped with several sanding units for sequential surface processing in a single pass.
Wood drilling machines
Wood drilling machines are designed for through and blind holes, dowel holes, furniture hardware mounting holes, fasteners, and other connecting elements.
Depending on machine design, the equipment can perform vertical, horizontal, or multi-spindle drilling. In serial production, accurate workpiece positioning and the ability to repeat the same drilling pattern across a large number of components are particularly important.
Wood lathes
Wood lathes are used to manufacture components with rotational surfaces — cylindrical, conical, stepped, and profiled.
Typical products include:
- furniture legs;
- balusters;
- decorative posts and columns;
- handles;
- staircase components;
- other turned solid wood parts.
For repeatable production of profiled components, copying systems can be used to reproduce the same shape on multiple workpieces.
Edge banding machines
Edge banding equipment is designed for automated finishing of edges on components made of chipboard, MDF, and other panel materials.
Depending on the machine configuration, the following operations can be performed sequentially:
- pre-milling of the panel edge;
- glue application;
- edge material feeding and pressing;
- end trimming;
- fine trimming;
- corner rounding;
- edge scraping;
- glue residue removal;
- polishing.
These machines significantly reduce the number of manual operations and help maintain consistent edge quality in furniture production.
Combined woodworking machines
A separate group includes combined woodworking machines, which integrate several technological operations in one machine.
The catalog includes different types of such equipment:
- combined saw and spindle moulder machines — for sawing and spindle moulding;
- combined surface and thickness planers — for creating a reference face and calibrating the workpiece to thickness;
- universal combined machines — can integrate sawing, surface planing, thickness planing, spindle moulding, and drilling/mortising operations.
Such solutions are particularly convenient for workshops and small production facilities where many different operations are required but efficient use of floor space is important.
For solid wood and panel materials
The new direction covers equipment for two major groups of production tasks.
When working with solid wood, the main operations include sawing, surface planing, thickness planing, spindle moulding, drilling, turning, and sanding.
When processing panel materials — MDF, chipboard, plywood, and furniture panels — precise sizing, drilling, milling, edge banding, and surface finishing become particularly important.
For workshops and industrial production
The catalog includes solutions for companies of different sizes — from small joinery workshops to serial furniture and woodworking production facilities.
For smaller businesses, versatility and compact equipment are especially important, while serial production places greater emphasis on productivity, powered feed systems, fast changeovers, and automation of working units.
Complete woodworking production equipment
HOLEKS TECH can assist not only with the selection of an individual machine but also with the development of an equipment package for several consecutive operations.
The following factors are taken into account during selection:
- types of materials;
- maximum workpiece dimensions;
- required technological operations;
- planned productivity;
- accuracy and surface quality requirements;
- available production floor space;
- required level of automation;
- dust extraction and auxiliary equipment requirements.
