The TWEKO D-8000 rotator is an industrial electromechanical positioning system designed to move, rotate and accurately position large workpieces weighing up to 8,000 kg. The equipment is intended for processes requiring convenient access to different surfaces without repeatedly repositioning the workpiece.
The D-8000 is designed, in particular, for large transport and armoured vehicles. 360° rotation allows painting, coating drying, inspection, installation and servicing operations to be performed from different sides of the workpiece.
Applications
- Painting of large workpieces
- Coating treatment and drying
- Servicing of armoured and special-purpose vehicles
- Installation and repair operations
- Inspection of different workpiece surfaces
- Process positioning of heavy structures
Rotation and Positioning
The workpiece is secured in the rotating cradle. An electromechanical drive provides smooth rotation and allows the workpiece to be positioned as required for a specific process operation.
- Maximum load capacity: 8,000 kg
- Workpiece rotation: up to 360°
- Smooth cradle positioning
- Access to different surfaces without repositioning the workpiece
Electromechanical Drive
The cradle is rotated by a geared motor and traction-chain system. Torque is transmitted from the drive through an intermediate shaft to the rotating mechanism.
- Gearbox: NMRV090
- Electric motor: T100LA4
- Motor power: 2.2 kW
- Supply voltage: 380 V
- Insulation class: F
- Motor protection rating: IP55
- Drive transmission: traction chains and intermediate shaft
Construction
The D-8000 is built around a rigid welded base frame supporting a rotating cradle for securing and orienting the workpiece. The structure is designed for high loads and stable positioning during process operations.
- Welded load-bearing frame
- Rotating cradle
- Geared motor
- Traction chains
- Intermediate drive shaft
- Electrical control cabinet
- Mechanical transport stops
Control System
The electrical control cabinet controls the rotator drive and cradle movement. The operator can manage workpiece rotation and stop it in the position required for a particular process operation.
Equipment Movement
The D-8000 is not self-propelled. Relocation between production areas is performed using a traction winch or other suitable auxiliary equipment.
Mechanical transport stops secure moving components and prevent unwanted movement during transportation.
Operating Conditions
- Ambient temperature: -20 to +90 °C
- Relative humidity: up to 80%
- Industrial design for production environments
Standard Configuration
- D-8000 rotating device
- Lower load-bearing frame
- Rotating cradle
- NMRV090 geared motor
- T100LA4 electric motor, 2.2 kW
- Traction chains
- Intermediate shaft
- Electrical control cabinet
- Mechanical transport stops
Main Benefits
- 8,000 kg load capacity: suitable for heavy and large workpieces
- 360° rotation: convenient access to different workpiece surfaces
- Electric drive: controlled and smooth positioning
- Mechanised orientation: reduces the need for repeated workpiece handling
- Heavy-duty construction: welded frame designed for substantial loads
- Versatility: suitable for painting, drying, repair and servicing operations
Safety
- Controlled electromechanical cradle movement
- Mechanical stops secure moving components during equipment transportation
- IP55-rated electric motor
