BPL 25 TMK / TSK are high-precision crank presses specially designed for the mass production of metallic bipolar plates for fuel cells. Based on Schuler’s proven crank press technology, they combine efficiency, modularity, and long-term reliability.
The BPL 25 series delivers up to 60 plates per minute with optimal quality, achieved by minimizing table and slide deflection. The unique kinematics of the crank mechanism ensure higher rigidity, as it never operates in a fully extended position. This eliminates the need for an oil cushion overload protection system.
Depending on customer requirements, the presses can be equipped with a traditional flywheel drive or an innovative servo drive. Additionally, through its subsidiary Aweba, Schuler provides complete solutions — from coil feeding and handling systems to advanced die technology — all from a single source.
Advantages:
- Production of up to 60 bipolar plates per minute.
- Capability to process pre-coated materials.
- Forming module, coil feeding line, and handling systems — all from one source.
- Maximum precision based on proven crank press technology.
