Setting up and checking the functionality of the equipment
The VB150 is a vertical boring and milling machine for cylinder blocks — ideal for high-performance automotive as well as medium diesel work. With the appropriate tooling the capacity covers 1.3″ to 8″ (≈33–203 mm). Standard supply includes a Ø13.5″ (≈343 mm) CBN milling head fitted with two double-sided CBN inserts. Polycrystalline cubic boron nitride (CBN) inserts deliver high-speed stock removal, excellent finishes and long, economical cutter life. From auto and diesel to motorcycle engines, VB machines bore and mill rapidly and accurately.
