Automatic hardness tester for Rockwell, Brinell, Vickers and CHD test methods according to ASTM and ISO hardness standards. The LD 3000 AF is designed to measure surface hardness thickness and determines (CHD) case hardness depths from 0.12 mm to 2 mm without the need to break the sample or separate material types prior to testing. Just one measurement reduces the time and cost of hardness testing compared to traditional Vickers and Knoop cross-section polishing methods. The load forces are applied through strain gauges and controlled by electronics in a closed circuit (Patent Afri). This hardness tester is fully motorized and equipped with a wide touch screen for easy test planning and clear viewing of results. CHD statistics and graphs are generated automatically and can be saved together with the test session in a large archive. Friendly interface with conversion tables and rounding correction values for tests on smooth cylindrical surfaces or different diameters. For determining the depth of the case by a non-destructive method of all metals: cast iron, steel, hardened steel, cast iron, brass, aluminum, copper and metal alloys. Heat treatment, hardening, nitriding, cementation and surfacing.
