H-frame Mechanical Press, PMF 200, HIDROGARNE

Hidrogarne PM Series are H-frame double-column mechanical presses designed for a wide range of metal forming applications in industries such as automotive, aerospace, railway and other heavy-duty stamping environments. Due to their high rigidity and energy capability, they are especially suitable for drawing operations.

The PM Series features double-gearbox designs with one or two connecting rods. Frames are manufactured from S355JR steel and undergo stress relieving and precision machining after welding to ensure perfect parallelism and accuracy. Design is carried out using CAE and finite element method software.

Structure and precision:

• Welded and stabilized frame made of S355JR steel.

Lubrication system:

Overload protection and compensation:

• Overload protection unit to safeguard the press and the installed tooling.
• Safety valve releases oil from the chamber if nominal load is exceeded.
• Slide and die weight compensation by two pneumatic cylinders.

Clutch and brake system:

• Electro-pneumatic clutch-brake unit.
• Double safety solenoid valve and crossflow system.
• Pneumatic system includes compensating air tank, FRL unit, pressure switch and safety valve.

Electrical equipment and safety:

• Control panel with operating modes: manual, semi-automatic or automatic.
• Redundant and self-monitored electrical and hydraulic actuators.
• Additional PLC for control and safety functions.
• Low-voltage two-hand control and foot pedal.
• Side safety guards with opening capability.
• Category IV safety light curtains on the working area sides.
