Setting up and checking the functionality of the equipment
The PTR 1300 is a hydraulic pressure tester designed for checking the integrity of cylinder heads, providing fast and efficient detection of cracks, leaks, and cooling circuit integrity in engine cylinder heads and blocks. The testing process involves immersing the cylinder head in a tank of hot water after sealing all outlets with rubber plugs and injecting air under pressure. If there are any defects, air bubbles will rise through the cracks.
The PTR 1300 is equipped with a programmable heater that allows for daily water heating, along with an electronic thermostat to control the temperature between 0 and 90 °C. Hydraulic levers move the cradle that holds the cylinder head, and the ability to rotate 360 degrees simplifies inspection from all angles. The insulated stainless steel tank and cover reduce heat loss and significantly lower operating costs.
This tester is known for its ease of maintenance and safety, featuring a low-voltage 24V operating circuit.
