The FAHDITALIA KONTOUR 1200 HYDRO – KONTOUR 1500 HYDRO professional wood lathe with hydraulic copying device is designed for producing large-diameter turned parts and complex decorative elements from solid wood. Machines of this series are used in joinery workshops and woodworking production facilities for turning furniture legs, balusters, stair posts, handrails, decorative columns and other cylindrical or profiled wooden components.
The KONTOUR 1200 HYDRO and KONTOUR 1500 HYDRO models are equipped with a hydraulic copying device with mechanized feed, enabling efficient production of repeatable profiled parts using a template. The versions differ in distance between centers — 1200 mm and 1500 mm respectively — as well as in useful copying device travel: 1100 mm for KONTOUR 1200 HYDRO and 1400 mm for KONTOUR 1500 HYDRO. Both models have a center height over bed of 240 mm, a maximum turning diameter of 460 mm and a 3 HP motor.
