STH 500 is an automatic hydraulic honing machine designed for high-precision honing of engine cylinder liners and similar parts according to the required technical parameters. The work-head body and slides are made of high-quality cast iron resistant to vibration, ensuring stability and excellent machining quality. All machine functions are controlled from a single panel mounted on a hook for convenient operation from various angles. The panel is equipped with digital indicators, a pressure gauge, rotation speed adjustment, and precise hydraulic feed control. The movable lower table facilitates quick engine block centering and reduces setup time. Independent adjustment of the honing head’s rotation speed and feed ensures optimal crosshatch pattern on the machined surface. The magnetic braking system of the honing head at any position prevents damage to the surface structure.
