Optical measuring system, E1-E2, Easydur

Due to their functionality and high computing power, video systems are widely used in industry in areas such as “Defect detection and dimensional tolerance checking”. Any optical measurement system has limitations in terms of the size of the examined products and the method of illumination. Most often, inspection of defects is performed by video systems using many video cameras and traditional lighting, which require expensive installation and calibration.

Our system performs the following measurements:

• E1/E2 parallelism and perpendicularity;
• grinding angle;
• the diameter of the entire spring wire;
• total number of turns;
• diameter and height of each turn;
• spring step for each turn;
• thickness of the last turn;
• spring height and flatness;
• spring alignment on the last turn;
• difference between turns.
