A journey into the sub-nano range
This is a unique Shimadzu device for special research in the subnanometer range (the dimension starts from 0.5 nm). Based on the induced grating (IG) method, this analyzer provides high accuracy and speed of analysis.
Features
The induced grating (IG) method allows even in the area of single nanoparticles to obtain a good signal-to-noise ratio, thanks to which stable measurements with good reproducibility are possible.
Contamination of the original sample does not significantly affect the measurement results. Thus, even if the sample is mixed with some foreign particles, information about the analyzed particles is recorded reliably. Filtering samples to remove large particles is no longer mandatory.
The device provides high reproducibility and obtaining stable data and, therefore, eliminates unreliability and inaccuracy in the analysis of particles in the nano-region. This is especially important when analyzing particles smaller than 10 nm.
