TRITON TME/TML-Series are advanced mechanical presses with a tie-rod design, combining conventional drive technology with the benefits of the TRITON modular system. From 630 t to 1,250 t, they feature a 2-point suspension with eccentric drive, and from 1,600 t upwards, a 4-point suspension with crank drive. These presses are user-friendly and ensure consistent performance even in demanding forming operations.
Link Drive is an advanced variant of the mechanical drive that provides better alignment with the forming process. Unlike conventional eccentric drives, Link Drive reduces the slide speed in the forming zone while accelerating the return stroke. This results in improved part quality, lower impact loads, and extended die and press service life — all while maintaining the same cycle time.
Advantages:
- Simple and intuitive operation.
- Flywheel as an energy accumulator for high performance.
- From 1,600 t — crank drive for complex components.
- Slide speed in the forming zone about one-third lower than with eccentric drive.
- Higher part quality and process stability.
- Reduced die wear and lower noise emissions.
