The FAHDITALIA KONTOUR 1200–1500 professional wood lathe is designed for producing large-diameter turned parts and complex decorative elements from solid wood. Machines of this series are used in joinery workshops and woodworking production facilities for turning furniture legs, balusters, stair posts, handrails, decorative columns and other cylindrical or profiled wooden components.
The KONTOUR 1200 and KONTOUR 1500 models differ in distance between centers — 1200 mm and 1500 mm respectively. Both versions have a center height over bed of 240 mm, a maximum turning diameter over chuck of 460 mm and a powerful 3 HP motor. Four spindle speeds — 900 / 1500 / 2100 / 2800 rpm — allow the operator to choose the proper turning mode depending on workpiece size, wood species and operation type.
