Bridgeport XT 630 5AX is a next-generation 5-axis vertical machining centre designed for high-precision and complex part production in aerospace, automotive, power generation, medical, and die/mould industries.
Built on a rigid one-piece casting weighing over 5 tons, the XT 630 5AX features a travelling beam structure that isolates the linear axes from the workpiece. This enhances stability and allows for precise positioning and machining performance.
The Ø630 mm rotary trunnion table supports up to 350 kg of table load and allows 850 mm swing diameter — making it ideal for multi-face, complex machining operations. Twin motors in the tilt axis further improve geometric and positioning accuracy compared to conventional 5-axis machine designs.
Advantages:
- Innovative structure: Travelling beam separates linear axes from the workpiece for better performance.
- High precision: Twin motors in the tilt axis for superior geometric accuracy.
- Large capacity: Ø630 mm table with 350 kg load and 850 mm swing diameter.
- Exceptional rigidity: Over 5-ton monoblock base ensures minimal vibration.
Features:
- Trunnion table design: Twin rotary drives in the tilt axis for precision movement.
- Travelling beam configuration: Linear axes positioned independently of the workpiece.
- Multi-industry suitability: Ideal for moulds, dies, aerospace, and medical components.
- Geometric stability: Maintains accuracy in high-demand machining conditions.
