This new Rockwell and Brinell hardness tester is particularly recommended for automatic cycle testing as it is designed to interface directly with a pendulum-type loading and unloading robot (such as automatic electric cars). The machine performs tests by interfacing directly with the electric car via barcode, using the OPC-UA protocol, finding its ideal application in automatic test lines where 100% product testing and all Industria 4.0 functionality is required.
This hardness tester is absolutely controlled in movements along the three axes X, Y, Z and, thanks to a special program, can perform tests anywhere on the part, achieving a very high flexibility of application.
The hardness tester for the Easydur line is equipped with two heads for hardness tests on the Rockwell C and B scales without changing the tip. This characteristic is particularly suitable for automatic installations where the operator cannot come in to manually change the device. The results of “good” or “not good” are transmitted directly to the electric car, which understands where to install the parts.
