Benchtop laboratory analyzer of total organic carbon with chemical oxidation of the sample in combination with UV irradiation
The TOC-V desktop laboratory analyzer uses the so-called principle “wet” decomposition of an organic molecule, which involves a chemical reaction with an oxidizing reagent, combined with UV irradiation and heating. The use of such an analyzer is especially effective for samples with extremely low concentrations of organic carbon (at the level of 0.5 – 1 μg/l). Such a high sensitivity compared to analyzers that work on the principle of thermocatalytic oxidation is due to the increased volume of the sample located in the volume of the reactor.
