Setting up and checking the functionality of the equipment
The NWJL 620 waterjet cutting machine utilizes a high-pressure waterjet method that can cut through various materials ranging in thickness from 0.1 mm to 350 mm. The cutting process involves connecting the cutter to a high-pressure water pump, where water or a water-abrasive mixture is directed through a nozzle. This method ensures that there are no “heat-affected zones,” meaning the structural properties of the materials remain unchanged during cutting.
Advantages:
- Versatility: Can cut a wide range of materials, including metals, ceramics, glass, and composites.
- Precision: Provides accurate cuts without altering the material’s structural integrity.
- No Heat-Affected Zones: Ensures the material’s properties remain unchanged.
Features:
- High-Pressure Water Pump: Delivers water or a water-abrasive mixture through a nozzle for effective cutting.
- Wide Material Compatibility: Suitable for cutting hard metals (e.g., titanium, tungsten alloys, stainless and carbon steels), soft metals (e.g., aluminum, copper, brass, zinc, lead), and construction materials (e.g., granite, marble, ceramics, glass, laminated glass, wood).
- Diverse Applications: Can process carbon, Kevlar, composites, paper, cardboard, leather, textiles, acrylic, polyester, polyethylene sheets, fibers, plastics, and rubber derivatives.
