STH 450 is an automatic hydraulic honing machine specifically designed for honing engine cylinder liners and similar parts with maximum precision and according to the required technical specifications. The work-head body and slides are made of high-quality cast iron resistant to vibration, ensuring stability and high machining quality. All machine functions are controlled from a single control panel mounted on a hook for convenient operation from various angles. The panel is equipped with digital indicators, a pressure gauge, rotation speed adjustment, and precise hydraulic feed adjustment. The freely movable lower table facilitates engine block centering and significantly reduces setup time. Independent adjustment of the honing head’s rotation speed and feed allows achieving optimal crosshatch angles on the machined surface. The magnetic braking system of the honing head at any position prevents damage to the crosshatch pattern.
