Spectrofluorimeter RF-6000 – a combination of high accuracy and ease of use

The spectrofluorimeter RF-6000 is a fluorescent spectrophotometer of the Shimadzu company, combining the achievements of modern technologies and accumulated experience, characterized by maximum productivity when solving a wide range of analytical tasks. The new LabSolutions RF software provides convenient instrument control and extensive analytical capabilities.

Spectrum correction functions are included as standard and allow for real-time display of edited spectra. This makes it possible to obtain true excitation and fluorescence spectra, which are determined by correcting such device characteristics as the emission characteristics of the light source and the spectral characteristics of the optical system. Thus, corrected spectra are obtained in real time. They are easily compared with spectra measured with other instruments. The spectral correction functions were created using a standard calibrated light source and proprietary correction techniques developed by Shimadzu. If an integrating sphere is used as an accessory, the spectrum correction function is included in the standard, which makes it impossible to install a special light source.
